Description

Imperial German, WW1, Extremely Rare, Minty Naval Sea Pilots Badge, The Naval Land Airplanes mostly operated from Marine Jastas in Flanders with the rest operating from Seaplane Squadrons on the Coast. This was not a large part of Kaiserliche Marine’s Avaition contribution to the Great War.
The German Navy had it’s own Pilot’s Badges for Sea and Land Aircraft. This is only the second Sea Plane Badge I have encountered in over 40 years of collecting.
I have an engraved named and dated Sea Plane Badge listed separately.
Pilot badges for the Kaiserliche Marine are considerably rarer than Imperial Army Pilot Badges.
