By twisting three different colored threads and using them as pattern threads (ornamental threads) to create a subtle decorative nuance. Fabrics created using this method is called “MIKOYORIMOKU”.
In addition, because the decorative threads are twisted with less tension, the fabric are especially softness to the touch.
The decorative threads are woven into the fabric using the SASHIKO technique (SASHIKO = a type of embroidery). A polka dot-like pattern is woven into the front of the fabric from the back.
