Up for auction is a used W. Schreiber S13 Germany made wood bassoon to high D with silver plated keys.
The ergonomically adapted keywork, specially conceived for musicians with small hands and children, enables simple and easy technique.
Most keys move freely and the pads appear to be in fair to good condition, but several corks need to be replaced and this bassoon would benefit from a professional regulation and tune-up for optimal performance. There are scratches throughout from normal use, some other cosmetic marks are more noticeable and the silver plating wear is minimal. The matching serial numbers on all sections is in the 34xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 2005. This bassoon includes a somewhat used zippered bassoon case with center latch(has backpack straps, one zipper is broken and needs to be repaired), a #1 and #2 Schreiber bassoon bocals and a hand crutch.
