WW1 Imperial German Berlin Offizier Verein .950 Sterling Medal in Box Named

Description

This is a really interesting medal that is marked 950 for the silver content. The best I can tell, this was a membership medal to a German Officers club or society in berlin. It has and engraved name on the back, Ascher. I think this is WW1 Era. The medal is about 1 1/2 inches around and comes in it's original case as shown. If you have any information you would like to share, I would love to know more about this.
